Joseph S. Piropato

Joseph S. Piropato is a Portfolio Manager at Tocqueville Asset Management L.P. He joined Tocqueville in 2007 and is a member of the Wealth Management Group. He manages private portfolios for individuals, families, and trusts. Prior to joining Tocqueville, he was a Managing Director of William D. Witter, Inc. and Inverness Counsel, Inc. He began his career in 1983 at Goldman Sachs as a financial analyst and his early career includes positions as Managing Director at Robertson Stephens & Co. and Founder and President of Pacific Heights Capital Management. Mr. Piropato is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and he earned an A.B. from Princeton University.

Tina Albright

Tina Albright is a partner at Day Pitney LLP. Ms. Albright counsels wealthy families with regard to preserving and protecting wealth for multiple generations, including estate and business succession planning with a special emphasis on U.S. tax and reporting issues for multi-jurisdictional families. She also advises individuals on wealth transfer planning and drafts implementing documents such as wills, trust and corporate/partnership and LLC agreements. Ms. Albright advises non-U.S. settlors and off-shore fiduciaries on establishing, funding and administering foreign trust structures.

Alison Edwards Curwen
Alison Edwards Curwen is a literacy specialist. Currently she is an independent consultant for Mercersburg Academy along with her own private practice. Alison’s specialty is to remove barriers to learning. A large part of this is implementing a four part plan: assessment, planning, action and review. Before moving to Mercersburg, PA she lived in the United Kingdom and worked as a SpLD Teacher at Kingham Hill School. Prior to that she was the Director of Study Skills at The Thacher School. Mrs. Curwen earned her BA from Connecticut College, her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, Reading Specialist Credential and MEd from University of California, Berkeley and most recently a post-graduate certificate in Literacy Difficulties from Oxford Brookes University. Outside of her work, most of Alison’s time is eaten up by her three teenage children and any free time is spent endeavoring to do some form of exercise.
